How do I get my hair back to its natural colour if I have a dye on thats only a few shades darker?

Its irritating me :( most of my natural colour has come through but its still quite dark in places and looks silly. My hair is a reddish, chestnutty brown and the dye was called Natural Dark Brown and it was a permanant dye that I put on a few months ago.

ages ago i dyed my hair 'dark brown' but it looked black and i hated it, so i looked on the internet and went to the hairdresser's etc and they said that cheap shampoo's would do the job.



so for a while i used head anc shoulders, as told. i left the shampoo on and wrapped clingfilm round my hair (i know it sounds crazy) but it worked, everytime i washed it out, loads of dye came out and my hair gradually went lighter and back to it's normal colour (light brown)
