How do I get my hair this color?

I know the girl in this picture is kinda scary, but i love the hair color. What products should I use? How long to leave it on for? How do I make it last as long as possible?

Go to a hairdresser with the picture....you won't get the results you want by yourself! It is way worth paying for this service. How do I get my hair this color?
Obviously, bleach. As far as color, there are these:

http://www.manicpanic.com/best%20hair%20

http://www.manicpanic.com/best%20hair%20

It also sort of looks like the cupcake pink from Special Effects, only faded:

http://www.specialeffectsusa.com/hair_dy

Leave it on for the time the instructions say. If the color of the dye is the color you want, then you want to leave it on for THAT amount of time. If you're looking for a paler color, say of the cupcake pink up there, leave it on for less time.

If you want it to last longer, try to wash your hair in cold water/wash your hair less. You could try the other line of manic panic dye, called the ';amplified'; formula (they have cotton candy pink with that). It is supposed to last 30% longer (according to the website).

If you want the black, just comb in black dye underneath, focusing on the side parts where it shows most. Do some beneath your bangs, if you have any. Don't go too wild with the black! Clearly she only has a little!
You have to bleach your hair first. Bleach is extremely tricky to do on your own. If you can. go to a professional to get it bleached. If you want to do it on your own, go to the drug store and get 2 or 3 bottles of very high potency bleach. Follow the directions for how long to leave it in your hair. You will probably have to do it 3 or 4 times before it will be light enough. And, to avoid really bad hair damage, you should wait about a week in between each bleaching.

Honestly, from the picture it looks like she dyed it neon pink and it faded, but I'm sure you could find a similar color. Just go to the drugstore and look around, or bye from manic panic.

Then get some black dye and dye the layer underneath, and you're good to go :)

Comb the hair behind your ears with gel so it stays in place.

Place your mask on.

Put the excess hair in a twisted bun, or if its long leave it super straight down

What can i do to my hair to make it fuller?

My hair is SO boring. Its the same everyday. It doesn't curl its boring it gets greasy really fast and i keep loosing hair. How can i make it appear fuller and thicker? and What can i do to it to make it look better?

Im tired of having the SAME hair everyday %26amp; what curlers work the best? I want natural looking curls but im not good with a curling iron..What can i do to my hair to make it fuller?
to make it appear fuller and thicker

Work a dime-size dab of shine product through the hair, and smooth bangs slightly to the side. Blow-dry the entire head with a paddle brush鈥攁 round brush will give too much of a voluminous look.

    to curl it

the best way is just to tie your wet hair in small buns, and then blow dry it.I hate to damage my hair so i've been using this method for a long time and it always works.however, you might needa experiment a bit on how tight you want your bun to be.the looser the bun, you'll get loose curls.go on youtube and you'll be able to find many many videos on that!hope i helped!

How long will it take for my hair to grow back?

i have hair that goes down to my shoulder blades, and i am getting super tired of having to fix it, so i want to cut it short-short, but i know it takes longer for a girls hair to grow back then a guys, so how long would mine take to grow? i just need like a estimateHow long will it take for my hair to grow back?
Not knowing what type of hair you have is hard to guess but I would say if you cut it all off and then let it regrow back to where it is now will be about 1 1/2 to 2 years. How long will it take for my hair to grow back?
    i think like 3 or 4 months
if your hair is very thick then i'd reccomend getting it cut a bit shorter first to see if you definitly want it short because it would take 2 or 3 years to grow back to its length now. if its think it would take about a year and a half but i think if you ask the hairdresser to cut it a bit shorter then you can decide if you definitly want it cut short. i think if you decide to get it short get a messy layered crop because these are easy to style with a bit of mousse. hope i helped:)

How to retain the burgundy-red color in my hair?

I dyed my hair burgundy - that purpleish red color - and I just love it, but it seems to wash out fairly quickly. What can I do to keep the color vibrant in-between dye jobs? Thanks in advance! How to retain the burgundy-red color in my hair?
there are shampoos specifically for dyed hair, and specifically for dyed red hair.

im not sure of specific ones, i just know i saw one by john frieda.

although i would suggest a better shampoo like something you get at a salon.

i would ask your hair lady or go into a salon and try to talk to someone about it.

I use Sunsilk Daring Volume. It's a cream you run through your damp hair, it comes in a yellow pump and you can get it in any drugstore. I was skeptical at first as it was not a salon brand and it was inexpensive, but I ended up loving it. It doesn't make your hair greasy, and does not leave any residue at all, which was important for me. It leaves no trace of product in your hair at all, it just leaves your hair looking and feeling much, much thicker and fuller. Definitely try it!
Im a hairdresser have been for 5 years...Where i used to work they had this product called nioxin they made it for chemo patients but it also worked for just regular thinning hair i used to use it. it rebuilds the follicle in the cuticle and with thicken and lenthen your hair your hair will grow faster tho. With this product to is that it takes up to 2 months to see results and 6 months for the full results if used the proper way they also make nioxin pills as well. You can get this at any regis salon i think that sells it or jcpenney...also in the mean time clip in extensions may help or if your hair is super thin i would tease it with a good but not so stiff hairspray like paul mitchell hold me tight its not heavy but will hold very well and no sticky effect....hope you take my advise cause i had my grandma used it and her hair grew back twice as thick i live by this product...GOOD LUCK!!! her is a website for nioxin you can read up on http://www.nioxin.com/en/assess-my-needs also for static you can use a slight amount of paul mitchel super skinny serum or Its a 10 shine spray i use both and love them especially in the winter http://www.mysalonangel.com/itsa10miracleshinespray.aspx

How can I dye my hair and how long will it last?

I'm in school and I have dark black hair (Asian dude). I want to dye my hair blonde or red. I just have to bleach it for yellow or bleach and dye for red, right?

Also, how long will it last before fading away. I'll need to start looking for a job in a few months. How can I dye my hair and how long will it last?
You must bleach all the color out before you can dye it.

It grows out, it does not fade out. It will take many haircuts to get back to natural and the roots will look terrible as it grows out.How can I dye my hair and how long will it last?
go to supercuts, and it will last until your hair grows enough to see your roots
    28 shampoos if it's semi-permanent.

Permanent hair dyes meaning until all your hair is cut out and new growth begins.

  • How to prevent Hair loss in eyebrow for men?

    Hi,

I am facing one problem. The problem is like I am noticing hair loss in my eyebrow. I am a 26 years male with good health. Can you please let me know what can be the reasons of this and how to prevent this?

Thanks,How to prevent Hair loss in eyebrow for men?
The majority of the cases of male hair loss are caused by a condition known as androgenetic alopecia. Men who suffer from this have a very high concentration of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in their scalp. DHT is formed when the enzyme 5-alpha reductase interacts with testosterone. Once DHT is formed, it bonds with the androgen receptors on your hair follicles and prevents them from maintaining a normal growth cycle. In order to prevent hair loss caused by DHT, you need to begin right away. The sooner you can stop the DHT, the more likely you will be able to keep your hair and the more likely you will be able to prevent hair loss. Use proven supplements which are designed in all aspect of hairloss without affecting the rest of your body like procerin.

How long does a american cocker spaniel hair takes to grow?

I can not give an estimated time because all dogs hair grows at different rates. How long does a american cocker spaniel hair takes to grow?
It probably varies just as it does in humans. Both my cocker spaniels -- the confirmation type and the field bred -- couldn't go longer than six weeks between haircuts. (Do I mean fur cuts?) Of course, I prefer short cuts -- basic field cuts -- and the interval could be longer if I didn't mind hirsute little beasts that look 10 pounds overweight.

And probably are -- I swear the shearings result in 10-pound heaps of shorn fur. (When I got my first cocker spaniel, I had no idea they needed all this grooming. Surprise!)

How do I ask for my hair to be cut? (Boys hair)?

Right now it's short, and sits an inch above my eyebrows when I push it down flat.

I don't think I've been getting my hair cut right, because it grows weird unlike other kids in my class. My hair stacks and piles up on my head, makes my head look larger, and it grows outward. Obviously, all hair grows outward, but my hair never goes downward by its own weight after it gets very lengthy. Also, I don't know if my hair is damaged, because it appears dry and stuff, but when I lift the ';outer'; portions of my hair up, underneath there's really awesome, silky, healthy, hair.

I want my hair to stay the same length, but I don't want it to be so thick and ';stacked'; and making my head look bigger than it really is. I want it to be like the nice hair underneath the other parts that I described earlier.

How do I ask in ';hair-dressing'; terms to have my hair cut? I tried finding a picture, but I can't find one of what I imagine my hair would look like if it wasn't so thick and stacked-up.How do I ask for my hair to be cut? (Boys hair)?
best to explain to the hairdresser what you said here. let them know HOW it grows out and also ask them what hair product you should be using. i think it's usually a good idea to have a picture, so you might want to keep looking.

My hair is so dry, frizzy & dull....split ends & all...How can i get it back to normal?

My hair never used to be mistreated as it is today. The abuse of straightening it, blow drying it, dying it....now it's thin, dry, frizzy, ECT.!! Will my hair be back to normal? Or is all hope lost? Tips? Ideas? Thanks Guys ^.^My hair is so dry, frizzy %26amp; dull....split ends %26amp; all...How can i get it back to normal?
Maybe try using a little less conditioner and let it air dry a little. Also, try using Herbal EssencesMy hair is so dry, frizzy %26amp; dull....split ends %26amp; all...How can i get it back to normal?
    leave in conditioner is good

also ALWAYS USE HEAT PROTECTENT BEFORE YOU USE ANY HEAT STYLERS.

i use chii iron guard spray. it smells good.
I have the same problem. I just stopped straightening it for a while, and let it air dry a lot. it's getting a little better, and it seems to be growing.
First, go to a reputable salon and get your hair trimmed to remove split ends and damaged hair.

Next, try using a shampoo without sulfates in it... it should be labeled. Most sulfate-free shampoos are kinda pricey but i believe l'orel just came out with a sulfate-free line that's more affordable.

In addition, use a professional, all natural, salon quality conditioner and leave it on in the shower for at least 5 min. I use Pureology Hydrate Conditioner, and it works absolute wonders and has a nice tingling sensation when applied because it has peppermint oil as a hydrator.

When you're finished towel drying your hair, apply a thermal protectant serum and continue styling as usual with hair dryer (low-medium heat) and a quality flat iron with multiple settings (be sure it's on one of the lowest heat settings).

Don't fret...with care, attention and patience, your hair will return to it's normal condition =)
I use to have the same problem and this is some of the best ways i found to help your hair out:

first off before and after using a straightener use heat protection for hair (doesn't cost a lot) sometimes its in sprays or gels just work it through out your hair good (shampoos have styling products like this). This will protect the hair from high heats.

    2. When drying hair get a blow dyer with comb attachment it will dry and comb hair at the same time along with some straightening added (when using grab the neck of the dryer to get better hole of it, point the dryer down so heat wont hit you)

    3. since your hair is frizzing now you will need to get moisturizers/ frizz protection, use moisturizers like hair creams or sprays the frizz protection can be found along w/ the shampoo styling products

    4. deep condition your hair once a week for one month (do this when not normally shampooing or conditioning) work it through out your hair and run the blow dryer w/ comb attached to your hair wash out 25 minutes later.

I also would go to a salon to get about 1-3 inches of hair cut just in case split ends are forming.

the link below can help you find some of the products sold in hairSupplys stores

does it matter what shampoo you use?

cause this is the kind i use and the same kind of conditioner:

    http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/188

thanks guys, any advice you haveHow do you straighten your hair?
Just like put it on yur hair a slide it down!?!? haha, and use a heat proctive spray,, and it doesnt matter what shammpoo u use!How do you straighten your hair?
What I do (I have thin, really curly hair, so I'm not sure how much this will help) is put up all of my hair in a really loose bun. Then, as pieces fall out of their own accord, I straighten them. When they stop falling, I start to pull. When I judge it to be as straight as it's going to get, I put it down, and flip all of the hair to one side.

From there, I straighten the wavy parts that I can see. Then I brush it back and part it a little bit to the side of where I started. And straighten.

Then, I repeat at least 5 or 6 times until I've reached the other side of my hair.

Then I arrange it how I'll wear it to school, and see if any wavy bits are showing.

    And that's how I do it. =]]
when you use a straightener, you should take a lock of hair and put the starightener to the roots and pull down. do this several times on the same lock of hair. if you dont put it to the scalp, it will leave indented marks on your hair which is really unattractive. good luck!
It doesn't at all matter what kind of shampoo/conditioner you use. Just start from the top of your hair and extend to the ends of your hair. But don't hold it on one spot of your hair for too long. Never just leave it in one place. Slowly straighten your hair but don't pause and hold it in one spot...otherwise you will get a weird looking crease in your hair...but if you do it's ok it will come out with water or just re straighten it and it will come out.
but all of your hair and turn upside down and put it so all of your hair is tied up in a ponytail on the TOP of your head not a ponytail but just so its sitting ontop or your hair. bring down a section and straightnen it going slow. after your done with the section make a low ponytail of that section so it doesnt get mixed up with the rest of your hair. do the same for the rest of your hair and always add the section to the low ponytail.
Put half of your hair up in a bun and straighten the bottom layer. After that is all straight, let the top layer down and straighten that. To check if the back is all straight, use a separate mirror to look at the back of your hair in your bathroom mirror. Straighten any pieces that you missed.

Go to youtube and watch some flat ironing tutorials. Watch as many as you can and read the comments for each video. Any knucklehead can put a ';tutorial'; on youtube and give bad info. You want to know how to do it properly and not do massive damage to your hair, and that's achieved by watching lots of videos.
Pin straight or just straight? If you want pin straight you just do it a little bit different so I will explain them both ways... First off, you might want a haircut that has layers. If you don't already. If not then that is fine, it's not required or anything. Turn on your flat iron and allow it to heat up. The temp will depend on your hair type, if you have thinner hair you probably won't wanna go to high but if your hair is thicker it is okay to go a bit higher, it's all experimentation. While it does that, spray a heat protector. I can not stress this anymore lol! You don't wanna burn your hair! Then section off your hair, the way you do doesn't really matter. I have really choppy shot cut layered hair so I take the top layer and clip it to the top of my head along with the middle one. (Don't have layers? Just to pony tails, part your hair in half and then in quarters so you have four section and hold each with an elastic or a clip and do it one at a time! ;) ) Your flat iron should be hot by now, if not just be patient. If you don't have one of those fancy-schmancy ones that beep when they are through get your fingers wet and flick a teeny tiny bit of water on the plates if you hear a sizzle, it's hot. Then take a small section of the bottom layer or pick a section and hold it out (if you want you can use a come as well, I just use my hands though.) clamp the flat iron down at where your hair meets your head (not so close you urn it though, that hurts so bad!) and then gently pull it down. (Note: for pin straight hair, just barely turn your wrist away from you. Just barely and then it will be seriously straight!) Then you just do the rest, after you finish a section or piece comb it out. When you are through style however you want and you are good to go with straight hair~!

As for shampoo, it does not really matter but you want one that works well your hair and leaves it nice after you use it! :)

Because they spend a lot of money on hair specialists and products so that they look 100% most of the time.

There's tons of celebrities that are bald or losing their hair. On the other hand the one's that are cast for good looking roles have to have good hair, so it's not like they're born into it, but all they have to have is be is attractive, good hair and a good body - SOMETIMES they want them to have talent.

Well, first off, celebrities or anyone who has the money to hire stylists to enhance their look, take it. They hire makeup artists and hair stylists to follow them around and make them up! Often times, celebrities are best friends with stylists too. Having people constantly around you that have a profession in making someone look good, chances are, you're going to look good.

Second, there isn't really a whole lot of celebrities that do that daily however. Alot of times if you ever watch Excess Hollywood or TMZ, you will be sure to notice that celebrities are not always glamorous. Many times, celebrities that have upcoming appearances in movies and such hire glamor teams to make them look good, they know they are being watched. For example, Sarah Jessica Parker has a makeup artist as well as a hairdresser to walk around with everyday. (As seen in the March issue of Glammor Magazine, she has them at her side at all times.) Then you look at Merill Streep, she is just as famous and wealthy as Sarah, yet she goes out with no makeup on at all at times.

Thirdly, money. money. money. Top celebrities can afford the best cosmetics and hair products this world has to offer. From $2,450 Hair Moosè or $4,550 Facial Cremès, you've got to be sure, they must work good.

And lastly, you have to know, not all celebrities have wonderful hair.

Not all ';poor'; people have discusting hair. If you take care of your hair, and know how to style it, money will be out of the question. Good hair is good hair, no matter how much it cost to get it there.

Simple solution to your problem with bad hair days:

    1. Eat healthy foods! Eating seeds such ad sunflower seeds, help alot with moisture in the hair.

    2. Take time on your hair! Go to the salon, get it styled and learn how to keep the style going.

    3. Don't get frustrated. Enjoy yourself. (:

    Good Luck,

I have very little facial hair. How can I get more?

I m 27 and besides a small goatee, I have no facial hair at all. My skin is really smooth !

I want to grow a beard . what should I do to get more facial hair?I have very little facial hair. How can I get more?
You hit your maximum facial hair growth in your mid 20s. What you have now is pretty much itI have very little facial hair. How can I get more?
hmm 27 and no hair on the face hmm r u sure u 27 lmao im sorry man maybe you are just one f the lucky ones
Someday, you'll be thankful ! ( I heard or read somewhere that you have to keep shaving the area/s , that, in your opinion, are lacking.) Supposedly, the more you shave, the coarser your hair gets.
Man you are so lucky I would kill to have no facial hair.

Anyways back to the question like the people above said not much chance of growing facial hairs now however called this an ''old ladies tale'' but according to some grandma lady in my family you should wipe your face thorughly after washing it to minimize hair growth so maybe you should do the opposite to maximise hair growth =)

    1.Bleach it

    2.Wax it

    3.Thread it (Search ';Threading';

    4. DON'T SHAVE

    5.Use hair remover cream

    6. Deal with it

    7.Trim it

    I go with 1 and 7 ;D
    Wax it.... she won't know.
    Shave that sh!t
Babe , bleaching is the best . I use (Jolen) Bleaching cream , its really easy and it costs about 9$, all u have to do is mix a little powder with 2 drops of the cream and leave on the area u wanna bleach for about 15 minutes , and u will feel and look beautiful , and u will have to re do it every month . Never shave , cause shaving will make the hair that will appear , so black and thick and it will look discusting and u will regret it .. and dont use hair removal creams , as the hair that grows back is much longer .. and the hair comes out too fast after using the removal creams , u will have to do it weekly instead of monthly .. totally waste of time and money . Please tell me what do u think , cause this is like , the longest answer I have ever written... Good Luck Bleaching .

Haircolor Remover Kit by L'Oreal will strip hair of all dye and prepare it for re-tinting so that you may dye it another shade. Read the packages carefully and choose which is best for you.

How to make relaxed hair curly?

I'm an african american with a relaxer in my hair. My question is how could I make my hair curly, without too much volume. How to make relaxed hair curly?
logically I think you would just use a curling iron...

but maybe relaxed hair does not take to a curling iron...How to make relaxed hair curly?
Roller or a curling or flat iron. You can also look into a process called Pin Curls. You can check youtube to see tutorials on how to do them. These will get your hair curly without heat - assuming you do them right.

I don't know how to devolumize hair. Most people want to add volume...
Try a braid out, or a twist out. Youtube has a lot of tutorials on how to do them. Some people do a lot of braids to get more volume, but I'd follow the YT link and do her tutorial. She only does 2 braids and it's has less volume but is still pretty. Bantu knot outs will have a less ';kinky'; look to them but they can be harder to do.

How do I make my hair grow?

I'm African American and I have shoulder length hair. I have put different color highlights in my hair that have made my hair break off (colors: red one time and golden twice). i get relaxers when I need them and I wrap my hair at nights when it isn't styled. Well, anyways, I'm just wondering how I could get my hair to grow back long and healthy how it used to be before all my colors. How do I make my hair grow?
just grab hand full by hand full and pull itHow do I make my hair grow?
For growing it you will have to be patient. It grows a half ann inch each month. For healthy hair go here: http://www.hairstylescut.com/healthy-hai

    http://www.howtodothings.com/fashion-and

Also I use leave in conditioner and moisturizing shampoo and conditioner by garnier too keep my hair soft. Olive oil hair mask may also be a good thing.
They have over-the-counter drugs at Walmart or CVS or Stop and Shop etc. that are called ';Hair and Nails'; or something similar to that which makes your hair grow faster and stronger which will make the highlighted area grow out. Also, people say that prenatal vitamins make your hair grow faster too, and don't have any other weird side effects.

    Good Luck!!!

(i used the hair and nails one and it definitely worked well!!)
I think your hair started to break off because you double processed your hair. It's better if you only have 1 chemical in it- either a relaxer or a dye job. You have to be devoted to taking care of black hair whether it be natural or relaxed.

I've never tried Cantu oil products before though. For me( I texlax/ relax my hair)- I deep condition my hair once a week with either a moisturizing mix or a protein mix. With a moisturizing mix I use Lekair cholestrol mixed with extra virgin olive oil, honey and any moisturizing conditioner that I want- like VO5, Sauve, or Aussie. The next week I'll deep condition my hair with a DC that has protein in it- I always use Aphogee 2 minute reconstuctor. Since you have relaxed hair then you need to put protein back into it because the relaxer works by breaking down the protein in the hair to make it straight.

There's no such thing as ';White'; hair care products. Half of the stuff put into the hair products aimed for black hair is full of cruddy ingredients like mineral oil and petroleum, which block the hair pores that need to be clean and open in order for our hair to grow.

When you relax your hair I'd suggest a method call stretching your relaxers out. Basically instead of relaxing every 6 weeks, you'd wait 7weeks the first time, then increase it one week every time. As of right now I'm on week 13 of a 20 week stretch. Stretching will help you not double process your hair that's already relaxed because you'll have more new growth.

Make sure you keep your hair moisturized also because black hair tends to be dry. I use Elasta QP mango butter- great moisturizer and seal with castor oil. Sealing with an oil like extra virgin olive oil or castor oil will help seal the moisture into your hair. Hair grease is not a moisturizer no matter what they put on the jar. Oil doesn't moisturize it seals- so the grease is actually keeping moisture from penetrating your hair.

Protective styling and low manipulation styles will also help you a lot. Most of time it's not that black women have a problem growing hair, but it's the retention that we have problems with. Our hair grows because if it didn't then relaxed heads wouldn't get touch ups. Wearing your hair out every day can be bad because your ends- which is the weakest and oldest part of your hair- are rubbing up against your cloths and are exposed which will lead to breakage. I would always get to shoulder length- never get any longer- and see all these little broken hairs on my shoulders.

Putting your hair up in a protective style like in a clip or in a bun will help retain length. Low manipulation styles include braid outs, twist out, bantu knot outs, ect. The links in the source box are two free hair care forums for black hair. All you need to do is sign up with your email and that's it. Traycee from Keep it simple sister has relaxed waist length hair. I've been taking care of my hair properly for about 1 and half years now and I'm almost to arm pit length by following her hair care regimen.

How do you straighten your hair?

so my best friend straightened my hair one time.....but my mom just bought me a straightner and i wanna do it but i have no clue how. my hair is pretty straight, but a little wavy. i want it to be really really striaght, like maci's in teen mom....

does it matter what shampoo you use?

cause this is the kind i use and the same kind of conditioner:

    http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/188

thanks guys, any advice you haveHow do you straighten your hair?

It might help to use Garnier Sleek %26amp; Shine before you straighten it. It will make it a lot smoother and shiner and take away the frizzies. Dont put too much in your hair though or it will look greasy.

    :)

    Good Luck,

I have very little facial hair. How can I get more?

I m 27 and besides a small goatee, I have no facial hair at all. My skin is really smooth !

I want to grow a beard . what should I do to get more facial hair?I have very little facial hair. How can I get more?
Man you are so lucky I would kill to have no facial hair.

Anyways back to the question like the people above said not much chance of growing facial hairs now however called this an ''old ladies tale'' but according to some grandma lady in my family you should wipe your face thorughly after washing it to minimize hair growth so maybe you should do the opposite to maximise hair growth =)

xI have very little facial hair. How can I get more?
Someday, you'll be thankful ! ( I heard or read somewhere that you have to keep shaving the area/s , that, in your opinion, are lacking.) Supposedly, the more you shave, the coarser your hair gets.
hmm 27 and no hair on the face hmm r u sure u 27 lmao im sorry man maybe you are just one f the lucky ones
You hit your maximum facial hair growth in your mid 20s. What you have now is pretty much it

How do you make hair grow fast? 10 pts?

Okay well my hair is right above my shoulders right now. It used to be quite long but I had to chop it off because like 10 inches of it was dead and now it is all gone and I miss my long hair. How do I get my hair to grow long and fast. I want it touching my shoulder blades by the end of summer. thanksHow do you make hair grow fast? 10 pts?
one good way to get your hair to grow fast is to massage your scalp.

that might sound weird, but it gets the blood circulating to your head which helps your hair grow. How do you make hair grow fast? 10 pts?
Your hair is basically dead protein so eat a lot of lean meat, fish, eggs and fresh vegetables.

Avoid damage by not using straighteners, curlers, blow dryer etc.

Increase blood flow to your hair follicles by putting your head-upside down for 20-30 seconds a day, this promotes hair growth.

Your hair grows most when sleeping so get plenty of rest.

Don't brush your hair when it's wet as this can cause breakage, use a wide tooth comb instead.

    Massage your head daily.

    Use deep conditioning treatments.
eating high nutrient foods is supposed to make your hair healthier and grow faster, massaging your scalp in the shower everyday stimulates blood flow which can help grow faster, and oil masks on your hair is supposed to work too..

    Good luck
Apply Oil daily and eat healthy food

how should i weaar it going to school ?

anything you want to add about it ?? :)

thanks %26lt;3I just got my hair cut from long to a kind of bob?
Don't worry, i am sure the hair is not that bad and if it is... HAIR GROWS BACK!

In styling if you want to hide it, put clips on both sides of your head to pull it back.

    or

wear a head band which will neatly pull it back!

    Hope I Helped

    xoxo

Lady StrawberriesI just got my hair cut from long to a kind of bob?
Guys don't really care about a girls hair, if you want my honest opinion. As long as you don't change it up too often, he won't even notice :) Personally, I think bobs are super cute and in style, so you have nothing to worry about. Best of luck!

How long should I wait to wash my hair after dying it?

I went to the salon earlier,

and went from dark blonde, to a medium brown color.

I'm really wanting to wash it. It smells like nasty product.

When should I wash it?How long should I wait to wash my hair after dying it?
...at at least 24 hours...not because it ill wash out or anything(like when you get a perm)

...but it is not good for it because the dying process is so harsh on it...it is good to let some natural oils accumulate again to help to repair it a bit!!!How long should I wait to wash my hair after dying it?
you can wash it now, but it might wash a little color out. i would personally wait until the next day.
depends on how long you want it to last. if your really want the color not to fade, wash it only once or twice a week (i know it's nasty, but that's the only way). if your having trouble getting by without washing it, try dry shampoo. also, rinse with cold water.
I know that feeling! Basic advise would be to leave it for 48 hours if you can (I always have my hair dyed on a Friday for this reason) however I'm going to wash mine tomorrow as I want it to tone down (its red)! Try to leave it as long as you can go so that the colour can settle in. Hope this helps :-)
I wait at least 24 hours when I color mine, because the longer you wait, the more it'll sink in, I believe. I'm no expert, but my sister is a hair-dresser, and she says if you get it done professionally you can wait as long as you want to, if you don't, and color at home, give it 36.
The salon(stylist) should have advised you on that without you even having to ask! Call them up, ask for your stylist or the manager, and ask them the question. As no one else will know what kind of chemical dying process, products, etc., that they specifically used. I know nothing about that sort of thing, except that it is all based on Chemistry, which involves technical chemical equations and is very challenging to learn and master. Is you don't like the color, and cannot stand the effects, go ahead and wash it now %26amp; give it a good deep conditioning. (Then, ask the salon for your money back, but good luck on that front, especially if you tipped the stylist - of course you pretty much HAVE to do that!) If you do like it, and do not want to or can't contact the salon, usually 24-48 hours is recommended before washing after a treatment. You'll probably get accustomed to the smell after a day, but you'll definitely want to use a pillow protector, or you pillow will smell like that FOREVER! Good Luck! %26amp; Hope the smell doesn't drive anyone else away, unless you want it to! ;-)

How to make frizzy hair straight?

i got frizzy hair and i don't want to damage my hair...How to make frizzy hair straight?
Use lots of conditioner. If you wash your hair with cold water its good for fizzy hair. Also use anti fizz gelHow to make frizzy hair straight?
If you use straighteners or curling irons, then don't because they make your hair frizzy. But if you can't live without them then maybe just cut down on the amount you use them. I have this same problem and I find that when I haven't straightened my hair in a week it feels al smooth with no frizz. I also use John Frieda frizz-ease serum. You put it on your hair when it is wet and it works! Hope I helped!
    Buy anti-frizz spray/balm

or rub a little bit of baby oil through ur hair :)
If all else fails to work, just get your hair chemicaly streightened and it should work :) x
You can get it chemically straightened with special hair straightener to do the job for you. But some people just don't suit straight hair. I'm one of them.
I have quite unruly hair and have found that the only thing to tame it that actually works is to use a good hair serum after each wash, I also recommend that instead of using straighteners to just blowdry your hair with a round brush, like they do in the salons.

Hope this is of some help!
this may look and sound very time consuming but i can assure you it is alot faster than you think.

1st wash your hair with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner: wash hair and COMB conditioner through your hair at the beginning of your shower and rinse the conditioner out with cold water right before you get out of the shower (combing will ensure that all of your hair gets coated with conditioner and rinsing the conditioner last will ensure that you leave the conditioner on long enough for it to really penetrate the hair and the cold water will seal the hair shaft)

2nd towel dry (squeeze your hair with the towel instead of rubbing it all over your head (this will keep the hair smooth then add a small amount of leave in conditioner (not too much though, it can make your hair greasy) then add a thermal protector.

3rd pin your hair in 1 to 2 inch sections all over your head and blowdry one section at a time while wrapping each section around a large round brush (make sure you blowdry at a downward angle pointing to the floor so you keep the hair shaft smooth)

4th if there are still some frizzy spots run a flat iron over your hair

and finally apply a shine serum/spray and you're good to go

also do a hot oil treatment once a week to improve your hair texture.

    hope this helps
Sleek %26amp; Shine shampoo and conditioner by Garnier Fructis works well, and so does Pantene Ice Shine. It makes your hair super shiny after using it for about a week and also helps a LOT with frizz. I use a leave in treatment after towel drying. I like Pantene's Smoothing Lisser. It smells good and really works and makes your hair soft. Before using the flat iron I use Got2b Guardian Angel Flat Iron Balm. After your hair is dry, just spray it on the sections as you go and it makes your hair shiny and smooth while protecting it from heat damage. Hope this helps!

I have a pink spray bottle called Helene Curtis Perfect Curls that you just spray it in your hair and makes your curls curlier. i love it
after i get out of the shower i put my hair in a tight bun and sleep with it wet..they next day it comes out soft and pretty curls..anywho..hope i helped..=)
You could try using a diffuser or curling your hair with a 1+ inch barrel curling iron. Either option would give you more uniform curls throughout your hair without giving you a stiff, unnatural look :) I think the curling iron would be your best bet because a diffuser may make your curls too wild. Just experiement with it :)
If you want more curl, use a round-barrel brush and blow dry smooth curls, or use a large-barreled curling iron for more bounce. For more tousled, wavy hair, come some of the curls out before adding serum or gel.

How can i get my hair to color?

my hair i black but i dyed my bangs blonde. i want to put color in it, possibly something like blue or green, something that's colorful. how do i get it to take to my hair? last time i did purple and my hair turned silver. How can i get my hair to color?
well it just depends you might just have to go to a professional to get it done or you have to get really good die but if you can't die it you can find something else fun to do with itHow can i get my hair to color?
You could bleach it and then use Manic Panic, which is a great product for color. They have a lot of colors like blue and green and purple and red. Hope this helped :)

    How to get 80's hair??

Hey guys, I have really curly and long hair now(almost afro) and I would like to know how I should straighten it to get 80s hair. preferably KISS(Stanley or criss). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys. How to get 80's hair??
You would have to blow dry it with a round ionic brush for that. You'd have to use mousse in the roots %26amp; a not too heavy straightening product on the ends. If it comes out frizzy that way you'd have to use a flat iron but not pull it up in the direction you want it %26amp; straight down because you want to keep the volume. Then spray it where you want it. Lots of spray! They used a ton of hairspray in the 80s so you'll have to do that too to get that look. You also need a lot of layers so hopefully you have the right cut. Good luck!

I woulld like to know how to get my hair to look like. Thank you.How to do my hair like this?
do you mean the color or the style?

if it's the color, you do need to go to a hair salon to get it, it's a 2 tone color.

But if it's the style, you wash your hair, blow it dry with a large round brush, apply texturizing cream, and chi silk infusion, and section hair into 4 sections. Starting at the bottom, with an 1 1/2 curling iron, roll your hair til you get to the top part. once your at the top part, part in down the middle or to the side whichever you like the best, and curl the front. and ur done. spray if you need to :)How to do my hair like this?
i think you would have to go to a salon to get something like that done. im sure she had to have professionals do her hair as well. it's a really cute look though you should def go for it. to make it more interesting maybe you should try highlights with that look too just to give it more spark. :)

Shave or wax...painful as it may be. Oh and make sure if you're hairy on your back you get rid of that, it's NASTY.
Waxing. Painful, but the more you do it, the less hair will grow make, and the hair that does with be much thinner.
call a day spa and make an appointment with an esthician and prepare for INTENSE pain. the best and safest way is to wax and i wouldn't recommend doing it yourself because there are things like ingrown hairs, and other skin problems that can occur, plus they know how to pull to remove the hair properly.

If you are a man, you should't really worry about that, hairy men are sexy.

If you don't feel confortable with it, I'd recomend laser. Shaving would be too unpractical and scratchy, waxing is too time consuming and leads to hair that stays under your skin and then provoques things like pimples. And both of them seem too gay.

So if you can't afford laser, leave it like that and enjoy it.
    waxing helps

and i really didnt need to know that much info
Personaly I like hairy men. They r so sexy. Show it off to the girls and u'll c.

ITS CALLED SHAVING. WAXING, AND COWS
Waxing lasts 4 to 6 weeks and it doesn't hurt much more than pulling off a bandage. There are also creams that dissolve hair but I don't think that would be very good for yor skin especaly near the bikini line.

Im a woman with light skin and dark facial hair, how do I get rid of it?

I have very course dark hair that grows on my neck, chin, and side burns. It's very embarrassing, and I need to shave every few days. I have an appointment to go speak with a doctor about it but its not for another three months. Im really tired of it as it has been a constant problem for me. I have very sensitive skin so I am worried about waxing. Does anyone have any permanent solutions for me?Im a woman with light skin and dark facial hair, how do I get rid of it?
quit shaving it! it will only get darker by doing that and thicker!.....try waxing a small area if it irritates you, use tweezers. i know its alot of work but if you keep shaving you will develop a full beard.Im a woman with light skin and dark facial hair, how do I get rid of it?
Try to go for hair removal creams..n even u can go for bleach..gudluck!
They make bleach that you can apply to lighten the hairs. There's also creams that remove facial hairs without shaving so you don't have to be stubbly. Don't let the other answer scare you, your hair will not actually get worse from shaving. Shaving only makes hairs appear thicker and darker, but if you let natural growth come back in, your hairs will lighten back to their pre-shaving color. I know there's tons of electrolysis things out there that claim to permanently remove hair by damaging the hair follicle, but it's a) painful b) expensive c) not that effective for a large amount of hair--mostly good for people with one funky hair in a mole or something.

You may want to consider getting a slight tan. While you should not bake yourself in the sun, a little natural sunbathing (still use lots of sunscreen) will darken your skin. This will make the hair less obvious, and it could even lighten it. Alternatively, you could try bronzing makeup or self-tanners (again, just lightly to take down the contrast a notch).

It might be that your hormones are unbalanced. If your body isn't producing enough estrogen, that could cause your unusual hair growth. This is probably your best bet for addressing the problem if that's the cause. Oral birth control pills might be able to regulate your hormones if you take ones that contain estrogen (not the progestin-only ones), or your doctor may put you on hormone therapy (which might just mean a prescription for....oral birth control pills, haha).

    Good luck.

How can I get all of my hair back to medium brown?

So I dyed my hair brown-black a month ago and decided I didn't like it. I've been trying to grow it out but my roots are coming in so much lighter! It looks awful, there's a big bold line where the colors meet. What should I do? I just want all of my hair back to my natural color of medium brown. If I use a blonde color to lighten my ends, then my roots will be really blonde! Help! How can I get all of my hair back to medium brown?
You should probably go to a stylist who can strip some or all of the brown black dye and then re-dye your hair so that it's your natural color. You can also possibly get some highlights to lighten the dyed part without over-lightening your natural roots. In the future, try using a semi-permanent dye when you want to experiment with new colors: if you don't like your new color, it will wash out in about a week, and if you do like it, you can dye it that way permanently. How can I get all of my hair back to medium brown?
Well I would suggest that you do not do it yourself, most likely you will end up messing it up even more and it will just be a mess. So my best suggestion would be to go to a salon and they can fix it up for you.

jump in the shower. use a good shampoo (I recommend Scruples) only on top to about your ears. Then use a good conditioner (recommended: Pantene ice shine) only to the ends. When you get out you have to blow dry your hair straight and you can pull up the top.

At your age, that is when the Male Pattern Baldness starts to show itself. But there are new advances in treatment made all the time, so I would go to a doctor who specializes in hair loss and find out all you can. Also, do check your thyroid, as hair loss can also be a sign of low thyroid. Are the outside ends of your eyebrows also getting sparse or vanishing? That's a thyroid question. So check that out, too. (Wilson's Thyroid Syndrome has a website with more info -- Google for it.)

    Good luck!
Fruits like berry, orange, lemon, grape and melon contain necessary nutrients required for hair.

Vitamin A is very effective in preventing hair loss and hair thinning. Carrot, milk, butter, dark green vegetables are some good source of vitamin A.

Right after you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair, but leave it a little damp. Put about a dime/quarter size amount of gel in your hand, rub your hands together, then grab about a handful of hair and squeeze it into a small ball(not too tight), then let go. Do this to all of your hair and let it dry. Once it is almost dry, put hairspray on it and you are good to go. =)

So if you can't afford laser, leave it like that and enjoy it.
    waxing helps

and i really didnt need to know that much info
Personaly I like hairy men. They r so sexy. Show it off to the girls and u'll c.
    try shaving dickwad!!!!!!!!!!
ITS CALLED SHAVING. WAXING, AND COWS
Waxing lasts 4 to 6 weeks and it doesn't hurt much more than pulling off a bandage. There are also creams that dissolve hair but I don't think that would be very good for yor skin especaly near the bikini line.

  • Guys: How important is hair when it comes to girls of your liking?

Do you really care about a girls hair? What kind of hair do you like? Straight, wavy, curly?Guys: How important is hair when it comes to girls of your liking?
Straight or wavy is great on just about anyone. Curly only works well on certain girlsGuys: How important is hair when it comes to girls of your liking?
You're probably not going to get a universal answer to this question. Everybody likes something different.

That said, I think most men prefer healthy-looking, shiny hair. I don't know any guys that are into the really-short look either. I don't like standing in line behind someone and not knowing if they are a man or a woman because their hair is as short and style-less as mine.

Personally, I like long wavy or curly hair, either brunette or blonde. Brunette curls are incredibly cute.
I think hair is pretty important when it comes to girls. Of course, well kept hair denotes a girl who takes relatively good care of herself, so that's a definite plus. For me, hair should compliment the face, framing it so that it's just like a picture that's easy to stop and stare at. Sometimes the hair can seal the deal on a great look, but if it's not well kept or well-matching, it can honestly ruin a look (though a good guy will be able to see past that for the girl behind the look).

I prefer straight hair, but depending on the girl, wavy or curly hair could also attract me just as well.
no it does not matter and i have no preferences

How to get long, thick hair? How egg is to be used to improve hair growth? What type of food i need to take?

5 years back i used to have long and very dense hair? Due to thyroid and anemia i had huge hair loss. Can i get back my hair? What care i need to take? How to get long, thick hair? How egg is to be used to improve hair growth? What type of food i need to take?
My sister had the same problem as well as breaking brittle nails. Her doc recommended a dietary supplement called Biotin from a drug store or natural food store. She's been taking it for 3 months, her hair has come back and her nails are gorgeous. I'm taking it now. It's in a pill form and says support for hair skin and nails on the bottle.

Good luck, hope it works for you.How to get long, thick hair? How egg is to be used to improve hair growth? What type of food i need to take?
I can't comment on how biotin effects your hair, but I do know the egg yolk has tons of the stuff. I consume 3 raw eggs a day. Raw to preserve the enzymes and nutrients. Once you cook it I believe most of that is lost.

If I take Prenatal Vitamins to speed up my hair growth, how many inches will my hair grow in 3 months?

Hair grows on average about 1cm a month so if yours grows at an average speed a tiny bit more than that. Kelp supplements are good for hair and nail growth too.If I take Prenatal Vitamins to speed up my hair growth, how many inches will my hair grow in 3 months?
probably about an inch this time of year. Spring and fall is the time when our hair grows a little faster than the normal rate of 1/4 inch per month or so.If I take Prenatal Vitamins to speed up my hair growth, how many inches will my hair grow in 3 months?
Hair grows at a rate of 1/4 inch per month. Taking prenatal vitamins will strengthen your hair, but nothing will speed up the growth.

How to curl my hair without an iron?

i really want curly hair. its as straight as a stick and just past my shouldersHow to curl my hair without an iron?
Braid it before you go to bed.How to curl my hair without an iron?
Well, if you want it permanently curly you can get a perm. But, if you want it just like curly for a day then you can either braid your hair into a couple of sections going straight down before you go to bed (yess it will look funny but whose going to see you when you sleep) or you can get rollers from like walmart or target for a couple bucks and put those in your hair before you sleep.
put it inna bun before you sleep! afta a shower. make shure your hair is wet(:
You can buy those hair curlers/rollers. You could keep them on over night and take them off in the morning.
--braid it into braids at night--

    1braid into little braids

    put gel on them

braid little braids into 2 braids (one on each side)

    braid into big braids.

    add gel.

    spray with max hold spray.

take them out in the morning and style

    --wear curlers--

    put in curlers while wet

    go 2 sleep (LOL)

    take out in morning

    hope this helps :]]

How would one go about applying hair relaxer to short hair?

Said hair is about 2/3rds of an inch long- it can't be easily split and combed like the directions. Any suggestions? How would one go about applying hair relaxer to short hair?
Start in the back and work your way forward combing it throughHow would one go about applying hair relaxer to short hair?
You might just want to get a texturizer! Better yet ,you might wanna let your hair grow just a wee bit longer maybe 1 more inch.Your hair will lay down better if it's longer.
If your hair is that short just slap some relaxer on it and just work it with your hands onto all the strands, let it sit a few minutes, then start smooth it til the hair lays down. Make sure to neutralize and deep condition following, then you should be able to curl it with a small curling iron.

how long will it take?! i mean i take hair growth vitamins and eat healthy, also i use horse shampoo. How to make hair grow faster?
Hair grows at a rate of about 1/2'; a month, and it's extremely difficult to rev up this natural process. Taking vitamins and eating a lot of protein, fruits, and veggies is good. Also, I know this sounds gross, but conditioning your hair with a mixture of 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon essential oil, and 1 cup lukewarm water boosts the shininess and strength of your hair and repairs split ends so it can grow more quickly. How to make hair grow faster?
i think the 'horse shampoo' your referring to is called mane and tail! take biotin, get plenty of sleep. i used beautiful lengths by pantene and that worked. exercise is important. thats about it! on average your hair grows 6in a year.

How to get shiny, thin, and volumed hair?

I have not thick but not thin wavy hair. Is there a shampoo and conditioner that i can use that will give me shiny hair? How can i get thin hair? I straighten my hair with the wet 2 straightener and it takes about an hour to straighten it then about 5 minutes later it starts to flip and curl back. Is there a product i can use to keep my hair straight all day? What about split ends? How do i give it body? How to get shiny, thin, and volumed hair?
    1. Never straighten while wet! It doesn't fully straighten, and damages your hair.

    2. You don't really need a special washing set. You can get good results from any. I use Herbal Essences.

    3. Only shampoo once or twice a week. Any more is bad for you hair.

    4. Condition every day. Leave it in for two to five minutes, at least, before washing it out. So yeah, don't put it in until you're out of the shower, and be prepared to go back in, or use the sink.

All of those should keep in shiny and straight. For body, just shampoo thoroughly, and make sure to wash it out fully. How to get shiny, thin, and volumed hair?
Why do you want it thin and then ask for body? A trim will get rid of split ends. Using a flat iron will make it straight, but the curl will come back due to the structure of your hair.
Change your shampoo and use products
