How to get curls for straight hair?

I have really straight thick hair. And for some reason i cant get them to curl at all. Are there any other ways i cant make them curl? My best friend uses saltwater in her hair. But that doesn't look very curly, just wavy. Thanks :)How to get curls for straight hair?
You can use hot rollers, those work really well...Good luck!

Thick hair is all ways really hard to keep put in the style you want. I suggest that you go to your hairdressers and get it thinned out. Then invest in some good Straighteners or curlers ( they would have to be quite expensive if you want them to work on your hair, I like GHD hair Straighteners: http://www.ghdhair.com/) and learn how to curl hair properly, here how to curl hair with Straighteners: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpl9KYzmJ6s. After you have curled your hair get some good hair spray, you could also use hair moose to do this.

You could also use hot hair rollers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58NAVdlry5o

Hope this helped
Use hot rollers. I have the same problem you have, but the hot rollers work wonderfully. You don't have to sleep with them in, just have them in for like half an hour.
