How should I style my hair for prom?

i dont know what i should do with my hair. my hair is a few inches longer than shoulder length. and i want to curl it regardless what style because my hair always straigh when i go to school. so what are some of your suggestions? pictures would be nice.

I think this is a really cute style for shoulder length hair for prom! The curls aren't very tight so your hair will not shrink up..and i think the poof makes it even more ';promish'; lol. here it is:

I also think you could try a low side bun or a low side pony %26amp; add some curls....I couldn't find a good pic that i liked though...
