How to volumize hair without a bump-it? Help!?

I've got dance rehearsal and pictures today and for one of them I need to style my hair to look really big and poofy near the back. ( the way a bump-it would make it look ) but I don't have one, so I was wondering if anybody knew an alternative to a bump-it or backcombing but still has the same effect??? It can't be too complicated because I have a 5 minute change and then will have to change my hair into a bun.How to volumize hair without a bump-it? Help!?
Easy just tease or backcomb

smooth over the top and pull

I have heard that the bump it does not work well at all. Just tease your hair and use hairspray under the area that you want ';bumped.'; Just the teasing and the hairspray will do the trick.
section your hair around the crown of your head. tease with a teasing comb. use hairspray to hold the tease and bobby pins. to quickly change it to a bun you can use a paddle brush to brush out the tease and do your normal ballerina bun and hairspray. good luck =)
use a round brush when you blow dry your hair to give it a little for volume, when it's time for the picture spray the top of your hair with hairspray and then use the round brush to tease it. When it's time for your change just brush the teasing out, just be gentle because it will probably hurt a little
