How should i do my makeup for my engagement party!?!?

I'm having an engagement party this summer, and I need ideas on how to do my makeup and hair. I have light-medium skin, blue-green eyes, and medium brown hair. My dress is a jewel-tone turquoise/teal colour with beading on it. Any ideas on how to do my hair and makeup to compliment the dress? I dont like anything too heavy. Pictures/links would be very helpful!

Eyes:

-primer

-Lid: gold eyeshadow

-Crease: bronze eyeshadow

-Outer 3rd/outer v: deep purple eyeshadow

(blend)

-Waterline: black eyeliner pencil

-Lashes: 1 coat of black mascara



Cheeks:

-Skin tone-colored pressed powder

-Light pink blush



Lips:

-nude pink lipstick

-light, shiny lipgloss over lipstick



~HAIR~



-Crimp with straightening iron
I have blue-green eyes. I always wear a brown eyeliner, it brings them out best.

As for eyeshadow, a light color would work. You're dress is a bright color, your make-up shouldn't be. A light shade of brown would look best! Brown or black mascara would be very pretty, not too heavy though.

If you curled your hair and clipped half of it back and made it look as if there was a Bump-It in it (only not that big! But big enough) it would be really pretty.
